DELTAS are proud to partner with BigHand, who generously opened their doors on Friday, 17th June to welcome an enthusiastic group of Year 7 students from La Sainte Union Catholic School.

As part of the school’s ‘Go to Work Week’ initiative, twenty students who where unable to join their parents or careers at work, had the exciting opportunity to visit BigHand’s Borough office for a dynamic, hands-on day designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce them to the world of LegalTech.

Working in small teams, the students explored how a product is developed — from ideation to delivery — while learning about the wide range of career paths in Product Development, including Marketing, Quality Assurance, Design, and Support.

After lunch, creativity took centre stage as students built their own product prototypes using LEGO, bringing their ideas to life through teamwork and innovation. Prizes were awarded for the most imaginative builds! Each student was gifted a DELTAS goody bag to take home at the end of the day, as a token of appreciation and a reminder of their inspiring experience.

This initiative offered students — many of whom may not otherwise have access to such opportunities — a valuable glimpse into the real-world applications of technology and LegalTech. It’s a chance to connect with professionals, experience a vibrant workplace, and break down barriers to entry in a fast-evolving industry.
A huge thank you to the team at BigHand for their time, hospitality, energy, and enthusiasm in making this day so impactful and memorable.
